Solvy stabiliser is used on the top side of piled fabric such as towels, polar fleece and similar fabrics. It washes away easily and completely. 

It is an milky film and after embroidered, will tear away easily from the stitches. Any residue is dissolved off with a light spray of water and wiped with a damp cloth. It will also disappear when washed.
