Cutaway
Cutaway is an ideal backing backing where it will come in contact with the skin
- Tshirts or sweatshirts for example. It is ideal for jackets and items that
need more stability. Cutaway is a permanent stabilizer it will remain on the
fabric
and keep it stable, during and after embroidery.

Tearaway
The tearaway backing is recommended for stable non-stretch fabrics
such as denim,
canvas, corduroy, and waterproofed fabrics.
Called "bi-directional", it tears in both directions.

Solvy
Solvy stabiliser is used on the top side of piled fabric such as towels, polar
fleece and similar fabrics. It washes away easily and completely.
It is an milky film and after embroidered, will tear away easily from
the stitches. Any residue is dissolved off with a light spray of water
and wiped with a damp
cloth. It will also disappear when washed.

Badge backing material
Machine embroidery needs a good quality stabilizer, the right backing has a big
impact on how your embroidery will turn out. The backing is used to stabilize
the stitching.

Polymesh Plus and Fuse
"NO SHOW" MESH
An exciting new embroidery solution for single layer application featuring the most stable polymesh on the market.

Hydrostick
Apply with a moist sponge on the backing -
Stick your garment to it and the adhesive easily washes off leaving no stain
This will replace peel and stick backings and adhesive sprays for most applications. It is a considerable savings over the pressure sensitive adhesive backings and more importantly eliminates toxic airborne spray adhesives.
The advantages over peel and stick backings are:
* No gummy residue on needles or machine parts
* Less expensive - no costly silicone release paper to deal with
* You can remoisten a few times to reposition
* Environmentally friendly, natural adhesive
Uses in hoopless embroidery:
1. The garment is too small or irregular in shape to hoop properly.
2. To avoid the hooping ring on certain fabrics
