Cutaway
Cutaway is an ideal backing backing where it will come in contact with the skin - Tshirts or sweatshirts for example. It is ideal for jackets and items that need more stability. Cutaway is a permanent stabilizer it will remain on the fabric and keep it stable, during and after embroidery. 1m wide

Tearaway
The tearaway backing is recommended for stable non-stretch fabrics such as denim, canvas, corduroy, and waterproofed fabrics.
Called "bi-directional", it tears in both directions. 1m wide

Solvy
Solvy stabiliser is used on the top side of piled fabric such as towels, polar fleece and similar fabrics. It washes away easily and completely.
It is an milky film and after embroidered, will tear away easily from the stitches. Any residue is dissolved off with a light spray of water and wiped with a damp cloth. It will also disappear when washed.

RINSEAWAY
.61CMS X 5M : $18.00 + GST. A "must have" for lace embroidery
- You only need to use one layer
- It is not a film and so it dissolves quickly
- It is very stable in both directions so won't stretch
- It is a non woven product and so it does not perforate like some films
- It does not have an unpleasant smell like some other products. Rinse-away will dissolve quickly in cold water but will dissolve even more in luke warm water.

Same qualities as polymesh plus but “iron on” Perfect for ironing onto the bak of your embroidery, to eliminate a rough area that may irritate the skin – babies clothes, children’s clothes.
